About GPBS

Ramona Goutiere established Goutiere Professional Business Services in 2004. GPBS specializes in nonprofit management, writing services and administrative support.

Those services are a good match for the company and the entrepreneur behind it. Goutiere has worked for state government, several nonprofit corporations and a civil engineering firm during her 30-year career.

She has experience in nearly all aspects of administrative support and not-for-profit work, including

  • Research
  • Strategic planning
  • Marketing
  • Grant writing
  • Business and promotional writing
  • Organizational development
  • Program development
  • Project management
  • General office administration

But what really counts is getting the job done. Goutiere has been a “staff of one” for two nonprofit groups, so she has hands-on experience in running nonprofits from the ground up. She is recognized for her professionalism, enthusiasm and hard work—as well as her team-building style.

Goutiere has

  • Proven ability to plan, organize and execute projects on time and within budget
  • Proven ability to work effectively with public, private and not-for-profit contacts
  • Proven ability to motivate others to achieve common objectives

The founder of GPBS has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and advanced training in economic development. She is a member of the International Virtual Assistants Association and holds the EthicsCheck certification. She is also a member of the Virtual Assistants Networking Association’s online forum.

Goutiere learned the value of getting the details right early in her career. “When you work in the Governor’s Office, everything you produce reflects directly on the Governor,” she notes. “Your work has to be right. The administrative staffers were meticulous and dedicated. They taught me to cover the details and to take pride in everything I did.”

Managing three nonprofit economic development groups taught Goutiere that creativity, persistence and humor are also essential job skills. “You never have enough time, money and help,” she notes. “You have to be resourceful, and you have to be determined. Most of all, you have to be able to laugh when things go wrong. Because things always go wrong!”

Goutiere has built GPBS on the same principles she has maintained throughout her career: excellence, integrity and commitment. “This company delivers what it promises when it promises. My professional reputation depends on it,” she emphasizes.

“Each client counts. Each job counts. And we’re determined to deliver top-quality products and exceptional customer service every time.”

Excellence. Integrity. Commitment.

Shouldn’t GPBS be your trusted business partner?
